Assembly of the FIAT Association unanimously agreed that the Association should be the Promoter of the Cause for Beatification and Canonization of its founder, Veronica O'Brien.\u00a0<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>This agreement was expressed in response to a proposal by the moderator of CHARIS, established by Pope Francis to coordinate the accompaniment of the charismatic Patrick, Cardinal Jozef De Kesel, Archbishop of Mechelen-Brussels, granted his \u2018NIHIL OBSTAT\u2019 to begin the process of beatification of Veronica, who died on 19 February 1998. Mechelen-Brussels, asked the Prefect of the Congregation for the Causes of Saints to examine whether there were any obstacles on the part of the Holy See to recognizing Veronica O'Brien as a \u2018Servant of God\u2019, thus allowing the diocesan phase of the process for her beatification and canonization to begin.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<div
